Following a first successful occasion of the festival in July 2015 with hundreds of attenders every sunday afternoon, Orgue! festival 2016 is back as a major event on the Nancy musical scene.
Orgue! festival 2016 is a unique opportunity for nancéiens and visitors alike to discover, or re-discover an iconic place, an outstanding historical instrument, and some of the finest organists on different repertoires... in a friendly and welcoming way.
On this second occasion, Orgue! festival 2016 opens its horizons to different international performers: from Germany to Japan, without forgetting France notably with Vincent Dubois, recently appointed at the Great Organ of Notre-Dame de Paris.
Young concertists will be at the heart of this year's edition as all the guests are under 40, including a concert given by the organ students of this year's Nancy Summer institute like last year, demonstrating if needed, the vitality of the organ scene.
We are pleased to invite you and welcome you, art and music enthusiastics, every July Sunday at 5pm, in the freshness of Nancy Cathedral. Free entrance.
