Following four successful occasions of the festival, with hundreds of attenders every sunday afternoon, Orgue! festival 2019 is back as a major event on the Nancy musical scene. For the first time, the concerts will take place in two different churches of Nancy: the Cathedral as well as St. Sebastien Church.
Orgue! festival 2019 is a unique opportunity for nancéiens and visitors alike to discover, or re-discover two iconic places, two outstanding historical instruments, and some of the finest organists on different repertoires... in a friendly and welcoming way.
Young concertists will be at the heart of this year's edition as we will welcome Jared Cook, young American organist who will come specialy from Texas, and Karol Mossakowski, from Poland and awarded at several international competitions, who already performed for us two years ago. Furthermore, the organists of the two churches which will host the concerts will perform on their own instruments.
We are pleased to invite you and welcome you, art and music enthusiastics, every Sunday at 5pm, in the freshness of Nancy Cathedral or St. Sebastien. Free admission.
